Has marginal real life run time over the original, but it’s way inexpensive and comes with some other cheapo goodies that are useful.
I use the charger to charge the OEM Canon battery with no ill effect.
Highly recommended if you ever want to charge and shoot at the same time.

The title says it all. It even came with an auto adapter and it works with non-US voltage/current. Too bad I left mine in the hotel in China! 
At least it’s cheap and I will buy another. Bonus: the charger also has a set of LEDs that light up to serve as a flashlight when a charged cell is in place– a veeery neat feature.

This product works as advertised. It is a great supplement to the shorter-life battery included with the camcorder (Canon HG-10 for me). The ability to charge it in the car is a great feature as well!

The Canon EOS-1D Mark III has a 10.1 Megapixel CMOS sensor (APS-H size) with Canon’s EOS Integrated Cleaning System and a 3.0-inch LCD monitor with Canon’s Live View technology.
